What does it actually cost to engage Amundson Group?

Contingent placement fees in 2026 run 20 to 25% of first year base salary across most construction roles. Retained search runs 25 to 33% billed in three installments. Volume agreements and direct hire programs are structured separately and typically come in below contingent for clients with consistent hiring volume. Full fee structure and the 90 day replacement guarantee are documented in writing before any search begins.

How long does a typical senior construction search take?

For a senior Project Manager, Superintendent, Estimator, or Foreman in the Sun Belt, a qualified shortlist lands in 7 days. Full search from intake to signed offer typically runs 30 to 45 days. Executive or relocation required searches can run longer. If your search has been open more than 60 days the issue is almost always comp band, not candidate supply.

Every placement carries a 90 day replacement guarantee. If a placed candidate leaves or is terminated within the first 90 days for performance reasons, we run the replacement search at no additional fee. Beyond the formal guarantee, we run 30, 60, and 90 day check ins on every placement so issues surface early enough to fix.
